Beck Christiansen is currently completing his junior year in the Utah State University Guitar Performance program, and studies under Corey Christiansen. He has completed the guitar pedagogy courses through the university. He has played guitar for 18 years, and spent the majority of that time studying with guitar education legend Mike Christiansen. Beck plays shows regularly in northern Utah as a soloist, and as a group with his band, The Moonspinners, he plays regularly in Logan and the Salt Lake area. Recordings of his music can be found on any streaming platform under “Beck Christiansen” or “The Moonspinners. Some of his favorite musicians are John Prine, Bill Frisell and The Backseat Lovers. He is familiar with and teaches a myriad of different guitar styles including blues, rock, and fingerstyle.
