Jason Kempton has been studying the guitar for more than 20 years and has been teaching locally for over 15 years. He spent his first two years studying guitar in California with professional performer and Hollywood session player; Tommy Armstrong-Leavitt (with an emphasis in rock and blues, theory and technique). In college, Jason majored in Guitar Education at Utah State University, under the direction of Mike Christiansen. Jason has performed locally at at venues such as Utah State, Whysound, and Summerfest.

Jason will work with students ages 9 and up.

Method: Working with beginning to intermediate students, Jason utilizes weekly goals to reach long term goals. Lessons are designed to fit the individual’s time frame, maintaining an emphasis on fun with good practice time.

Styles: Rock, Blues, Country, Pop, Folk, Improvisation, Theory, and Technique.
